After several decades of development,mobile communication technology has been the era of the3G. The current LTE (Long Term Evolution) has started commercial. Mobile Internet users continue to increase. The user data traffic continues to increase and the communication rate is rising along with changes in technology, that brings power increasing. The increasing cost of enormous challenges to the present wireless mobile communication network. The new base station platform using the technology of software radio base station platform, which power consumption and the cost is greatly reduced compared with the traditional,and also has a high performance, scalability, good stability etc. That makes the software radio technology based on general purpose processor has become a hotspot, and gradually becoming the realization of LTE base station has the most potential for the future technology. The work of this thesis focus on the research and hardware signal gathering board based on Software defined Radio realization.In this thesis, the system architecture of software radio is made a specific analysis. The performance comparison are made for the chips which can complete the function considering the cost,reliability, complexity of implementation and other factors. Finally we determine use the Virtex-6type XC6VLX130T FPGA as the core board-signal gathering board processor, which can meet the system hardware platform and data rate. Finally, this thesis puts forward the concrete realization of the target signal gathering board.This thesis makes detailed study and design about the various functional circuit on the signal convergence board.The main work includes the PCI-Express golden finger design,clock circuit design, power module design. QDR and DDR3design,interface design. Flash configuration circuit design,reset circuit design and high speed serial interface circuit etc.On the basis of above design, this thesis analyzes the signal integrity of the main signal on gathering board, including GTX signal, RocketIO signal, high-speed clock signal. It provides guiding references for hardware PCB layout, to ensure the stability of the board.At the end of the software radio system was tested and verified, including between the key module card and signal gathering board and the daughter board debugging main work, achieves the goal of design.
