With the developing of the economy, there come many new wireless services. The spectrum below2GHz has already been used up, so it needs high requirement for detecting and analyzing wireless signals. Detecting and analyzing wireless signals contributes a lot to the country safety, and it’s already a key factor for measuring a country’s technology level.The technology of detecting wireless signal is not only an important research aspect of international telecommunication industry, but also a foundation of wireless communications. It is always a challenge for handling the stochastic process caused by complex channel, filtering the noise under the circumstances of low Signal to Noise Ratio while lacking of signal information, and distinguishing signal sources. A universal hardware system is required to verify technologies which used in wireless signal detecting and analyzing based on software defined radio.This dissertation begins from the analysis of the development and introduction of SDR and the requirement of wireless signal detecting system, then designs the software and hardware architecture of the whole system. Finally the dissertation describes the purpose and meaning of the design of the wireless signal detecting system.Secondly, this dissertation presents a general framework for wireless signal detecting and analyzing system. Based on the general framework, this dissertation describes the function and framework of the modules which are used in the system. Then this dissertation describes the selection of the key components and the choice of interface protocols. Finally, the general design of this system is completed.Thirdly, according to the general framework of the wireless signal detecting system, this dissertation complete the design of the functional modules of intermediate frequency amplify board and high-speed data transmit interface, including the schematic design of analog to digital conversion module, down-convert module, amplifier module, serial configuration circuits, power system, clock distribution networks, PCB design, FPGA program for high speed data transmission, testing and verification.Finally, the dissertation gives the conclusion and research directions for future work.
