The proposal of software-defined radio technology(SDR)effectively solves the problems of poor compatibility,low operability and high cost of traditional wireless communication systems,and promotes the further development of radio technology.As the core algorithm of SDR technology,the research progress of digital signal processing algorithm effectively supports the development and innovation of SDR technology.Therefore,the research of algorithms in software radio platform will have important practical value for the performance evaluation,design and optimization of modules in SDR system and even innovation.Because of its flexible programmable characteristics,abundant on-chip resources and performance advantages,large-scale programmable devices have been more and more widely used in the field of digital signal processing.The main work of this thesis is as follows:1.The design block diagram of the digital signal processing link is given.Based on the platform of matlab,the digital signal processing algorithm in the link is theoretically analyzed and simulated.These algorithms include digital frequency conversion,variable rate signal processing,Fourier transform and digital detection.Through simulation,the parameters of each module are optimized and the performance of the module is improved.2.Based on the hardware of FPGA,the hardware implementation of digital signal processing algorithm in SDR is designed.The designed algorithm not only realizes modularization and fluidization,but also achieves minimal resource occupation and saves hardware cost on the premise of guaranteeing performance.3.A lossy subband compression algorithm is proposed.Firstly,the algorithm divides the frequency band into multiple subbands based on orthogonal mirror filter banks.The dynamic range of sub-band signals after shunting is significantly compressed and more consistent with non-uniform distribution.Then,according to the characteristics of sub-band signals,a block adaptive interception module is designed,which further improves the compression performance of the algorithm.Because the algorithm does not model specific signals,it is universal.After testing,the proposed algorithm can effectively compress different types of modulated signals,save channel capacity,solve the problem that the current mature compression algorithm can not meet the compression model of various modulated signals in SDR system,and has good performance in SNR and EVM.Especially for SDR system with large amount of data,high real-time requirement and high data transmission cost,this algorithm can effectively solve the above problems.Because of the dramatic increase of data volume brought by the development of SDR technology,the requirement of signal processing algorithm is getting higher and higher.It requires not only real-time compression of data on the premise of guaranteeing performance,but also low complexity of algorithm and less resource occupation.The work in this ttesis plays an important role in the development of SDR.
