With the integration of communication network,BTC(Backbone Transmission Centre)’srelocation is usually to be the choice for improving the network security performance and thebenefit of maintenance management.As we all know that BTC’s relocation is a kind of high-riskprojects,which includes technical risk,service risk,organization and management of risk and so on.BTC’s successful relocation is crucial to telecommunications operators because it loads a largeamount of important services.It is also more complicated than normal engineering project.Currentlyits lack of research on risk management system.How to improve success ratio of relocation and howto improve work efficiency.So its worth further probing in reducing risk of BTC’s relocation.The paper put the theory of risk management into BTC’s relocation on the basis of author’swork experience and characteristics of project,including the risk management of the project toanalyze,risk identification, planning to monitor and control all stages of research and put forwardeffective measures to deal with. The paper is focused on the use of AHP method by YAAHP intorisk assessment.Meanwile, the paper also maked specific measures and monitored the risk of BTC.The successful application of risk management can offer reference data and management experiencefor later communication projects, and its also significant in theory and practice for risk managementin similar projects.
