Risk Management In The BTV Networks Center Reloaction

In the field of communication, the project of the center relocation is always confronted with much more difficulties and challenges than other projects, for example, a project of new constructions. Moreover, the BTV networks center relocation has its own uniqueness. The key work of our BTV broadcasting system is to ensure the security broadcasting of BTV programs. Therefore in all communication businesses, the continuity of 24 hours' broadcasting is the strictest requirement of broadcast and television programs.It is an extremely severe accident that the program is suddenly stopped, excluding in the situation of active maintenance.This thesis begins with a detailed domestic and overseas status introduction on the risk management and the networks center relocation project. On the basis of that, the paper makes a careful research and analysis of risk management theory which is going to be applied in the relocation project. Furthermore, it makes a brief introduction of the new networks center construction project as well as the relocation construction. Thereafter, it deeply analyzes and studies the combination between the relocation project and the risk management theory. More specifically, it considers possible risk factors affecting the project, analyzes probability of occurrence, assumes possible influences, and develops preliminary risk mitigation strategy. The final step is the documentation of lessons learned in the project implement in order to manage future projects.In the combination of risk management theory with practice work, it is hoped that the relocation project could be well completed to avoid project risks, to meet the requirements and to ensure the security broadcasting of BTV programs. This thesis makes a research on the whole process of risk management in the project. Meanwhile, it tells the way in applying the key factors of risk management to the center relocation project with accordance of its practical situation. In future, other similar BTV networks center relocation project may follow this example.
