In the transmission network, with the changes in business needs and external factors, Optical network constantly need to change. The business changes in network maintenance called cutover. Now after the large-scale construction of PTN, the frequent Network business adjustment is inevitable. How to efficiently maintain becomes one of the main problems as communication operators. Especially in the business cutover, to improve the PTN operation efficiency and the security of network, there is important significance for us to solve the problems in traditional cutover, such as high manpower, high risk and the long signal break time, and realize the intelligent cutover of PTN. Therefore, it is very urgent to achieve efficient, accurate, safe business adjustment through the systematized management process and professional cutting tools.This paper presents a scheme for the network management software to realize the intelligent cutover of PTN on the basis of analyzing the characteristics of PTN business circuit cutover and the typical application scenarios of network adjustment. This scheme systematized PTN circuit cutover operation, standardized cutover process and can achieve the pre-configuration of cutover business, smart cutover operation, cutover rollback functions. It can considerably improve the efficiency, reduce risk and maintenance difficulty of cutover.This paper, firstly, introduces and analyzes the PTN equipment product architecture and business model. Secondly, it identifies and proposes the basic scene of circuit cutover and the network scalability in engineering application. Then, it analysises and designs the system architecture and the realization mode of basic functions about the PTN. intelligent cutting system. Finally, it demonstrates the feasibility of realization of PTN circuit intelligent cutting system in the OTNM2000 network management system.
