The Research Of "Reports About Middle Delta"in Hubei Daily

Nowadays, competition between mediums is intense. In order to survive, mediums need to maximize the benefits of report. Since the1990s,"news planning" became popular in the practice of communication.Hubei Daily Media Group reported about Middle Delta since2012.The reports about Middle Delta supported the theme of "Establishment of urban agglomeration in the middle reach of the Yangtze river is in line with the grand strategies of urban agglomeration development trend in the world". This series of reports embodies the strong planning capacity of Hubei Daily. And it realizes the maximization of the social benefits.In this paper, I analyzed this series of reports from3dimensions:the communication factors、agenda-setting process and government public relations. I excavated the highlights of reports, such as the full use of brand value, forward-thinking, all-media presentation, maximum audience resource, grasped the mature reporting time and so on. In the agenda-setting process, the Hubei Daily gave full play to its advantages, such as strong authority, abundant information resources and talents with high quality. In the process of building the government public relations, medium is the most important link, should play its role of delivering information, reflecting public opinions, setting up issues, guiding public opinions and modeling the government image.At the same time, we saw there are some disadvantages in the reports, such as lack of attention to the feedback mechanism. In the next, we should make full use of the new media’s advantage to improve the feedback loops.
