The rapid development of information technology provide an effective support forpeople to use modern digital signal processing technology to achieve rapid informationprocessing, data acquisition and processing techniques play decisive role in this method.This paper studies the data acquisition and processing technology based on FPGA,combined the data acquisition, data filtering and data compression technology, WhereFPGA is the core of data acquisition and processing. The main contents are as follows:Select a suitable FPGA chip, design data acquisition and processing system structurebased on FPGA. The whole system is divided into three parts: multi-channel acquisitionmodule, data processing module and data storage transmission module. In which A/DAchieve data acquisition, FPGA Achieve data processing and the system control, SDRAMAchieve data storage, PCI transmit chip Achieve data transmission. This study focus on theimplementation of data processing based on FPGA, including the digital filter design andlossless data compression design. The digital filter use time-division multiplexing structureand CSD coding algorithm, giving a hardware structure of the filter structure. Give thedesign based on the CSD code multiplier module, the sampling data input module, acoefficient storage module, the control module. the filtered output signal module, andachieve the timing simulation. Data compressor use a dictionary to store the data and theLZW algorithm, the LZW algorithm block diagram is given to achieve data compressionfunction. Including front-end FIFO buffer module, RAM memory module with adictionary,and the state machine control module. The Data acquisition and processingsystem is designed by Verilog HDL and simulated under Quartus II, MATLAB andmodelsim environment.
