Research On Workshop Layout Optimization Based On Simulation Technology

Workshop layout design is an important part of the manufacturing systemdesign. In production management, it is one of the decisive factors to improveproduction efficiency and reduce the production cost. In terms of saving investment,It is an important technical measures and its importance ranks only second to thenew equipment procurement. Traditionally most of the research on this issue can besolved by using mathematical model or algorithm. However, mathematical model forthe research has a considerable limitation, The fact, because of its hardSimplification and the difficulty of algorithm for complex dynamic problems. Withthe development of computer simulation technology, it provides the effective meansand tools to solve the uncertain problem. In this context， this paper attempts toadopt the method of simulation to analyze and solve the problem of workshop layoutoptimization.This paper firstly reviews and summarizes the research status of the workshoplayout optimization at home and abroad. On this basis, to get a method for aworkshop layout initial design with SLP.After simplifying workshop productionsystem, on the basis of the initial layout scheme by using the Flexsim to simulateworkshop production system. Finally, by the simulation analysis of the initialsolution, we can propose improvements and verify simulation experiments.This study has great practical significance and reference value. It can offersome ideas for workshop layout optimization study and Reference opinions.
