With the rapid development of Intranet and Web and its development tool,network management technology based on Web also emerge as the times require. C/Sbased on the traditional (Client/Server) existing platform dependent alarm monitoringstructure, need to design and development and client install special, maintenancedifficulties and shortcomings upgrade already could not catch up with the trend of thetimes. On the current status quo, as a communication and computer network operationsupport system software vendors, if there is a set of network management systembased on Web is not what big advantage, but if there is not a set of networkmanagement system based on Web, there must be a bad situation obviously.In this paper, from two aspects of theory and practice, combining theory andpractice, expounds the present situation of domestic and international alarmmonitoring system, the paper analyzes the present situation of alarm monitoring basedon Web, then the Web alarm monitoring technology to do a detailed comparativeanalysis. After the description of the content and significance of this paper, began todemand analysis and feasibility study of the system. Step by step the architecturedesign, outline design, function module partition of Web alarm monitoring system.Then a detailed design, data structure design of each function module, the systemsoftware and hardware environment, development tools, system implementationprocess. Finally this paper introduces the test, the operation of the system, and theadvantages and disadvantages of the system are summarized, and the system willrealize the function is briefly discussed.The system enables network managers to any node can be on the network, throughthe Web browser to easily find fault alarm information transmission circuit andequipment, and rapid recovery, greatly improving the efficiency of maintenance work.At the same time the company reduced maintenance cost of the system.
