Design And Implementation Of Alarm Management Based On 3G Network Element Management

Firstly, this thesis introduces the standard of the Telecommunication Management Network (TMN) and analyzes several typical models of TMN, then points out the existing problems in the TMN of mobile radio system, briefly states the need of the construct of Unified Element Management. Discuss the design and realization of Alarm Management in Unified Element Management. Based on the theory analyzed, this paper presents a model of information of Alarm Management. Give the concept of alarm tree,alarm pool,alarm synchronization and so on,make sure the alarm in time and true. Based on the model and the characteristics of the Network of CDMA2000, designs a distributed and multi-layers frame of Alarm Management system and implements the system based on J2EE and relational technology of J2EE.J2EE structure is applied in the background based on TMN criterion, Alarm Management background comprises Management Application Function (MAF), Work Station Function (WSF) and Element Management Function (EMF). MAF is server and WSF is client.Designs the Element Mediator Function module for interlinkage and message alternation of the multi-layers network management system. which aims at the status that different network element uses different management protocol. Now network system can not control multi-type network element..Designs the unified interface F interfaces for intercommunication between client and server, and designs the hierarchy module for constructing the multi-layers network management system. Based on the analysis of the function of Alarm Management and the standpoint of the separation of common functions and special functions, designs the Common Application Function and the special function Management Application Function that aims at different type network element.The production of this thesis has been applied in CDMA network management system in ZTE Company.
