China is the main apple production area, and Shaanxi province is one main appleproduction district in China. The following problems appeared in Shaanxi orchards, fruitersare planted dispersedly so that it is not fit for the development of big automaticallymanagement mode. The main orchard production management method is record productioninformation by manual work, which leads to the information is not detailed, the standard isnot unified, and information storage is not in time, the second record transparency is low, therecord result continuity and succession is not the best, it is difficult to form an efficientsupervision mechanism and the recorded data for enhance production skill and managementlevel is not obvious. To solve the aboved problem, the paper aims to exploiting a traceableorchard production management system on the basis of analyzing actual orchard requirementswith RFID technology. The system designed the unified RFID label encoding schemestandard, developed orchard related information display and management system, andprovided multi-dimension orchard information traceability platform for users, finished theorchard standard and precision management. The main research content are as follows:(1)Summarized existed traceability system work way and problems of orchardmanagement, proposed production process multi-dimension traceability mode, overall systemrequirement and framework design fit for itself based on the RFID system structure and worktheory. Selected the RFID labels fit for orchard production cost, designed a tag distributionscheme and encoding form convenient for users to remember. The tag encoding form includesgeneric coding definition and custom coding definition;(2)Used C#program language, SQL Server database, Visual Studio2008developmentenvironment. Surveyed the orchard production process information management, agriculturematerials storage et al operations in field. Designed traceable orchard production processmanagement system, achieved the farming operation dynamic recording, recorded preciselybatch farming operation information produced by the different operators, time and sets.(3) Proposed double dimension traceability mode which improved the existed singlemode. The users not only can track the production process information by the only productcode, but also can use the fruiter’s farming operation information to track the trees’ information; it is convenient for users to get the related information about the fruiter moreprecise.(4) Used GPRS communication mode and Socket network communication protocol tofinish the data communication between hand-holding reading device and the system. Thesynchronous content is selected by the users, the system will pack and transmit the selectedcontent to finish the data upload, issue, cover and update, thus to achieve the lower-higherlevel data synchronous.Alignment results shows: The system can achieve orchard related informationmanagement, multi-dimension trace for single fruiter, data synchronism with PC rightly. Thesystem has the features that friendly human-computer interaction interface, information recordaccurately, strong instantaneity, formed information management and good continuity. Thepaper result is important for enhance fruit safe production and orchard precision managementquality and efficient development.
