Organic Vegetable Traceability Management System Based On Rfid Technology

With the social progress and rapid development of economy, people’s living standard have been improved. The problem of food quality safety has been paid high attention all over the world. In order to ensure food quality safety, countries in the world have introduced food safety traceability management system as an effective means for the food quality safety management. Now the food traceability range has been developed from the food source materials to the traceability of the food producing process.In this project, a complete food traceability link has been established form organic vegetable farm growing to enterprise processing. Taking full advantage of RFID technology relative to barcode, we collect the data of every link of organic vegetables including breeding, growing, fertilizing, farming, inspecting, harvesting, logistics and distribution. In view of the agricultural enterprise’s own characteristics, we have developed the organic vegetables safety traceability system. On the basis of it, we also integrate our organic vegetables sales system. In this system, not only can our customers take part in every link of organic vegetables traceabilty, but also purchase all kinds of rest asured organic vegetables online.The organic vegetable safety traceability management system based on ASP.NET and MVC architecture have been developed by using Microsoft Visual Studio2010and SQL Server2008in this project. After logging into the system, not only can the customers inquire about the organic vegetable traceability data, but also realize the organic vegetable shopping online. The organic vegetable sales shop can manage all kinds of organic vegetables and process customer orders. The agricultural enterprise can monitor all aspects of production of organic vegetables and manage of customers and sales shops. Linking to the governmental food security management platform, the system will not only enhance the food security management level, but also promote the healthy development of the agricultural industry.
