With the rapid development of electronic technology, electronic equipment cabinet has been widely used in the field of production, living defense and so on, also more and more people keep a watchful eye on the reliability of electronic equipment cabinet.By referring to the domestic and foreign relevant data, the structure and the size of the electronic cabinet and its components were set according to the design requirement of the electronic cabinet. The finite element model of cabinet was established through the3-d drawing software Pro/E and the finite element analysis software ANSYS. According to the standards and requirements of the International Electro-technical Commission(IEC), applying the Different function modules of ANSYS program to conduct the numerical simulation analysis of the experimentation (including the crane test and stiffness test under the static mechanical load,the vibration, impact and collision test under the dynamic mechanical load) related to a electronic equipment cabinet, getting the simulation results of the cabinet under various experimental conditions, and analyzing it, and then the weak link of the structure design of the cabinet was found, At the same time to compare the result of the different structure of the cabinet under the same test, and putting forward a modification proposal.The above methods can predict the experimental data of the product design, and to improve the defects of the structural design scheme, so that will make relating design work and analysis achieved. It is a role can not be ignored for the design and optimization of the product, which is not only assist to find the problems in the product development stage, but also shorten the product development cycle, reduce the cost of the research, ensure the quality of the products, and then improve the economic benefit, at the same time also provide a reference to the related industry product structure design method, and help to optimize the design of the product.
