With the electric power technology and electronics technology is developing continuously,the cooling of the electric power and electronics product especially for high-power productbecome more and more important. The water-cooling technology is replacing the air-coolingtechnology by its good cooling ability. But the design of water-cooling radiator base onexperiment now. With the CFD and commercial software development these years, it is feasibleto simulate the water flow and its heat transfer process with computer. In this paper i simulate theflow field and temperature field of radiator with the FLUENT software, get the heat transferperformance and hydrodynamics property of radiator and compare with experiment value, thenfound some problem of radiator structure and improve it. The fluent software has the function of3D modeling, hydrodynamics calculation, heat transfer calculation, consequence of calculationdrawing. The application of these new idea and function in the design of radiator can improvedesign, enhance the design function, save manufacture expense, shorten exploitation time, andenhance the independent exploitation ability of product.
