Design And Implementation Of Scientific Research Project Management System Based On WEB For Vocational College

With the constant expansion of vocational colleges and the continuous reform andadjustment of scientific research management system, the work about the variety ofinformation processing and analysis of scientific research management departmentbecome more and more complex. Illustrated by the example of Henan Quality andEngineering Vocational College, the original research project management system hasmany shortage such as the management link multiple levels, inefficiency; weak function;difficulties of automation; and difficulty for realizing the research management ofinformation technology completely, etc.The paper designs and implements a new research project management system tosolve the above mentioned problems. Aimed at the weaknesses of research projectmanagement process and the original system, the paper makes a detailed analysis ofsystem function, system performance and the requirements of database through usingUML modeling tools, The architecture of the system is based on the four-layer browser/server, reducing the coding complexity. The main functions of the system consist ofproject information management, expert management, research project reviewmanagement, project funds management and integral management. It will improve theefficiency of scientific research management and achieves the main function of thesystem by using the ADO.NET and OLEDB.The object of this new system can provide the addition, update and query the dataefficiently. And it can effectively reduce the work of school research managementdepartment, standardized the management and approval process, improve thetransparency of information and reduce personal subjective factors. For example, thephenomena such as modification for project reporting and management of project fundsallocation without permission can be eliminated completely. The management will notbe limited the time and space, expand the scale of research project management, whichwill promote the management research projects to a new level.Due to the wide range of scientific research work, this paper designs andaccomplishes the scientific research management project mainly. The sharing ofmanagement resource and the expansion of function will be analyzed in the furtherresearch.
