In order to reach complex scientific and technological goals,high-tech enterprises normally need multi department teamwork to provide competitive products.To this end,the teamwork across departments in high-tech enterprises has become one of the indispensable organization forms.In the cross functional team of this complex work,how to effectively collaborate,become the key problem of high-tech enterprise's growth and sustainable development.This case study of cross functional team collaboration base on 3 high-tech fabless IC design companies(L company,A company and H company),through in-depth interviews with executives of project teams and departments.By using the method of qualitative research,not only try to interpret the high-tech product teams' cooperative and management mode,but also explore the main factors influencing the team cooperation and how do these factors work by in-depth analysis of images of teamwork,then put forward improving L company' s team collaboration.Based on the interviews of the different levels key staff of L company and other 3 high-tech core project teams,this paper identifies some key factors affecting the level of cooperation in high-tech IC design industry.Such as the way how effective team management improve cross functional team collaboration,and in the process of team conflict,how to effectively improve the efficiency of problem solving to meet the increasingly fierce competition.At the same time,this paper also points out how effective information management system plays a key role in team collaboration and how to organize different information management systems to adapt to the characteristics of different teams.The information system ultimately can improve the level of collaboration and accurate feedback team effectiveness results to the relevant management team.Finally,some management opinions of different scale high-tech teams are put forward.According to the actual situation of different companies,managers can carry out different types of organization and management.The managers of the enlightenment is: managers must be aware of the important role of team play in the process of rapid development of high-tech enterprises,in order to meet the extremely complex products listed in a short period of time,to an organized team building.While improving the level of teamwork,we also need effective means of information management and mechanisms to enhance mutual trust among departments to improve the efficiency of project operation and maximize the efficiency of the final team.The implications of this article for managers are that managers must be aware of the important role that teamwork plays in the rapid development of high-tech enterprises.To meet the extreme requirements of complex products in a short period of time,organizations need to organize a team construction.While improving the level of teamwork,effective information management tools and enhanced interdepartmental mechanisms of mutual trust are needed to improve the efficiency of project operations and ensure maximum team effectiveness.
