Discrete manufacturing of our country faces the problems that the data acquisition hasbackward, materials distribution are inefficient and excursive, the cell layout lacks offlexibility. At the present stage, many problems that exist in discrete workshop become abottleneck which restricts the development of enterprises. Workshop can solve the problemsthat the field data acquisition has backward, materials distribution are inefficient byintroducing RFID; Workshop can solve the problems that the traditional cell layout lacks offlexibility by introducing virtual manufacturing. This research subject merges two advancedtechnologies and develops discrete workshop material conveying system based on RFID, toIncrease automation and productivity of workshop. Electronic label on both sides of theworkpiece boxes records information of workpiece, by the RFID reader mounted on bothsides of the transfer line, reading and writing operations on electronic tags can achievereal-time monitoring and production information collection of the workpiece. Workshop use adistributed layout which provides favorable conditions to achieve virtual manufacturing, allowing the system to maintain a high flexibility. This paper decomposes delivery system into delivery unit, modular designs conveyingunit and Makes the system easy to maintain and expand. The paper makes in-depth study ofthe characteristics of the various transport units by kinetic analysis. On this basis, the deliveryunit is divided into various sub-units, with a unified and simple way to express the deliverytime of box on the sub-unit. And then the paper proposes real-time path selection methodwhich solves the general problem of conveying path selection task. The paper abstractssub-units to virtual unit and establishes ant colony algorithm model whose a optimizationgoals is the delivery time, to solve path planning problem of emergency dispatch andequipment failure. The paper proves the convergence of the algorithm by matlab simulation. The paper verifies the feasibility of distributed control scheme whose the core is PLC andselects various types of component. The paper Completes design of mechanical parts, solvesthe problem of the transport path planning, designs the hardware structure of the controlsystem and laies a solid foundation for further study.
