It is hard timely and effectively to obtain the real-time production data in the traditional discrete manufacturing workshop, such as the status information, location information, transport time and production line of the factors of production.It is unfavorable for the precise management and efficient production. So researching a kind of real-time positioning and tracking technology for discrete manufacturing is necessary and the technology must be accurate, reliable(anti-interference) and low cost. This paperis supported by “12th Five Years Plan” of national defense basic research projects.The main research and results were as follows:1.The architecture of the RFID real-time location system for discrete manufacturing workshop is studied. On the basis of present researches, this paper analyzes the requirement of the real-time location system for discrete manufacturing plant, then the real-time positioning system architecture for discrete manufacturing is proposed, system frame, physical topology and running mode are included. Finally, the real-time positioning data model for discrete manufacturing plant is studied.2. The real-time positioning methods and data for discrete manufacturing plant are studied.The workshop electronic map model is proposed to achieve the positioning data visualization. The real-time positioning methods are studied for different requirements in discrete manufacturing plant, and the methods can be divided into initial positioning, accurate positioning and blind area positioning. Besides, the paper studied the RFID real-time data processing.3.The dynamic scheduling and task push based on the RFID real-time location system are studied. A dynamic scheduling model is designed to achieve the minimumequivalent cost, the task push mechanism based on the real-time location system is proposed and a simulation experiment is studied at last.4. The RFID real-time location prototype system for discrete manufacturing plant is developed. The development idea is proposed, the software and hardware environment of system are designed, the system function structure is designed and database system is established, finally, the development of the prototype system is completed.
