Classical Chinese is a written expression of an ancient language long time ago, which is the crystallization of Chinese civilization, an important way to pass on the heritage and the important expression of ancient wise men. So learning classical Chinese has a far-reaching significance.At the junior middle school Chinese teaching stage, classical Chinese is also the important part of junior middle school textbooks. Learning classical Chinese benefits to improve the level of reading writings and helps to deepen their understanding of Chinese culture. Classical Chinese teaching gets more attention with the deep of the Chinese course reform. However, classical Chinese teaching still has problems. Both teachers and students feel boring because the grammar teaching of classical Chinese occupies most of class time. Classical Chinese’s language style, written form and cultural background become barriers for the process of teaching and learning.In order to carry out the above problems, the researches based on the significance of classical Chinese teaching analyses the teaching situation at this stage and provide more detailed analysis about multiple problems. The research combines Chinese traditional teaching and teaching strategies in western countries organically. Meanwhile propose some advice and ideas about classical Chinese teaching strategies.
