The study on classical Chinese articles is regarded as the science of studying writing rules of articles.The instruction of reading through following the writing rule has been existed since the ancient times.Yao Nai,a scholar who studied classical Chinese articles once said,there are three ways to explore knowledge,that is NeoConfucianism,textual criticism and writing.Classical Chinese excerpted from Chinese textbooks at the junior high school exemplifies classical Chinese articles.Therefore,it can definitely better understand the writing arts and connotation and meanwhile provide new ways of classical Chinese teaching by introducing the study of classical Chinese articles to instruct classical Chinese reading teaching at junior high school,analyzing features in genre,structures and linguistic expression and guiding them to learn the main contents by specifying the art forms.This paper can be divided into five parts as follows:The first part introduces the research background,research basis,literature review,the significance of research and research methods of classical Chinese reading teaching at junior high school from the perspective of the study on classical Chinese articles.The second part mainly introduces the objectives and contents of classical Chinese reading teaching at junior high school and reviews reading teaching methods of classical Chinese articles edited by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.The third part clarifies and illustrates the basic elements of the study on classical Chinese articles in order to determine and grasp the reading teaching significance,based on the classical Chinese reading teaching from the perspective of the study of classical Chinese articles.The fourth part makes a general analysis of all classical Chinese articles(totaling38 and excluding classical Chinese poems),edited by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.from the perspectives of genre,structure and linguistic expression.It also makes a detailed analysis of three classical Chinese articles and exercises from the Chinese Textbook 1 Unit 3(9th Grade),edited by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.The fifth part explores teaching.Taking Watching Snow at Mid-Lake Pavilion as an example,the author studies and conducts the teaching design by telling its genre,then grasping its style and finally reviewing its character.The paper aims to explore the significance of the study of classical Chinese articles on the classical Chinese reading teaching at junior high school,under the theoretical guidance of the study of classical Chinese articles.Meanwhile,it is expected to provide reference to the combination between the study of classical Chinese articles and classical Chinese teaching by taking specific teaching designs as feasible examples to strengthen their practical significance.
