Objective:The aim of this study was to observe the efficacy of point injection through the method of Filling and Purging prevente chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting. Methods:This study is designed for controlled clinical trial,62 subjects included-in the standard with cancer were randomly divided into two group:the treatment group and the matched group, including 31 research object.31 patients in the matched group were administered with intravenous injection of Tropisetron once per day, until the end of chemotherapy. On the basis of the matched group,31 patients in the treatment group were discriminated first, then, administered with point-injection therapy combined with Metoclopramide, on zusanli point once per day, until the end of chemotherapy. Observe and Compare two groups of nausea, vomiting, adverse reactions and so on from the first day to the fifth day, Record data and use the statistical software analysis, which have significant differences(P<0.05).Results:1. Incidences of nausea and vomiting occurred less in patients who received point-injection therapy combined with Metoclopramide, on zusanli point (P<0.05).2. The degree of nausea and vomiting was significantly improved in the treatmen group(P<0.05).3. This method of point-injection therapy combined with Metoclopramide on zusanli point reduce the incidences of abdominal distension, diarrhea and diarrhea(P<0.05). But it didn’t work for dizziness and headache(P>0.05).4.This method have little effect on live function, renal fucton and the KPS physical force grade (P>0.05).Conclusion:The method of point injection through Filling and Purging could reduce the degree of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, and prevente acute vomiting and late-onset vomiting. It also ccould reduce other chemotherapy adverse effects such as diarrhea, abdominal distension and constipation. It has no obvious side effects, and is a safe and effective treatment method.
