| Objective:This research is projected to collect and analyze hospital records of application PTX chemotherapy in the tumor hospital of traditional Chinese medicine of JiangSu province from March2012to February2013, using a combination of Chinese and Western medicine treatment to investigate the role of Zusanli acupoint injecting astragalus on cellular and humoral immune function in patients with gastric cancer chemotherapy,and to observe the influence on quality of life, bone marrow suppression, liver and kidney dysfunction in these patients by this therapy. Looking for a relatively more efficient, safe and economical interventions of Anti-tumor immunotherapy.Methods:Cases met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group(point injection+chemotherapy)30cases and control group (chemotherapy group)30cases. Two groups of patients were treated with paclitaxel drugs based two-drug combination programs, and antiemetics, nursing stomach, or white blood cells and other drugs were used as the routine treatments. On this basis, Zusanli Huangqi injection therapy were acted into the treatment group. From one day before chemotherapy to one day after chemotherapy as a course, totally10days. Observe and record T lymphocyte subsets, NK cells,immunoglobulins, KPS score and related adverse events of the patients. Analysis the above datas with SPSS19.0statistical software.Results:1.Cell-mediated immunity:After treatment, the T lymphocyte subsets CD3+(%), CD4+(%) and CD4+/CD8+of treatment group increased,and CD8+(%) declined (p<0.05). There was an increasing trend on CD19+(%),CD16+/CD56+(%), but no statistically significant differences were showed(p>0.05). There ware no statistically significant differences on cell-mediated immunity of control group(p>0.05). Comparison between groups, the treatment group CD4+after chemotherapy was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05). 2.Humoral immunity:After treatment,there is no significant change on IgG, IgA, IgM of treatment group(p>0.05),but IgG of control group was significantly reduced after chemotherapy (p<0.01). IgA, IgM of control group had no significant change after treatment(p>0.05). Comparison between groups, the treatment group IgM after chemotherapy was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05).3.KPS score:After treatment, the number of KPS score rising cases in treatment group significantly higher than control group (p<0.05)4.Myelosuppression:On the fouth day, the total leukocyte inhibition rate and moderate to severe leukocyte inhibition rate of treatment group were significantly lower than the control group,moderate to severe inhibition rate of hemoglobin of treatment group was significantly lower than the control group (p<0.05). The day after chemotherapy, two groups showed no difference in the case of bone marrow suppression(p>0.05).5.Liver and kidney dysfunction:No obvious damage of liver and kidney function was shown in two groups before and after chemotherapy. But one day after the chemotherapy, the urea nitrogen of control group was significantly higher than before chemotherapy (p<0.05).Treatment group did not change significantly (p<0.05).Comparison between groups, the difference of urea nitrogen of control group is bigger than that of treatment group (p<0.01)Conclusion:1.Zusanli point injecting astragalus injection may increase peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets CD3+(%), CD4+(%) and CD4+/CD8+, and reduce CD8+(%), enhance patients’immune function. This therapy may affect the content of immune globulin.2.Zusanli point injecting astragalus injection may enhance gastric cancer patients’ KPS score after chemotherapy, improve their quality of life.3.Zusanli point injecting astragalus injection may reduce the incidence of hemoglobin suppression and white blood cell suppression in some extent,especially Ⅱ degree and over Ⅱ degree of bone marrow suppression, and may protect renal function.4.Point injection therapy is a safe and effective method. there were no liver and kidney function injury or other serious adverse reactions appeared during the therapy. Comparison between groups showed no significant difference(P>0.05). |
