Clinical Effects Of Modified Siwu Xiaofeng Powder In Treating Chronic Eczema Patients And Its Impact On The Balance Of Th1/th2

Objective: To explore the curative effect of modified Siwu Xiaofengpowder on the chronic eczema, and its effect on the balance of TH1/TH2.Method:75cases are divided to the treatment group and the controlgroup by random number table. The patients in treatment group receivedmodified Siwu Xiaofeng powder for oral administration while the controlgroup was treated by Fexofenadine hydrochloride tablets. The clinicalefficacy were compared at the second and fourth week after the treatment.The level of IFN-γ、IL-4and T-bet/GATA3in peripheral blood weredetected when all of the treatment is finished.Result: After two weeks treatment，the effective rate of two groupsare63.9%，38.9%respectively．After four weeks treatment，the effectiverate of two groups are83.3%，61.1%respectively. The total effective rate inthe treated group was significantly higher than that in the control group,showing difference statistically (p<0.05). The level of IFN-γ and the ratioof T-bet/GATA3was increased both in therapy group and the control group after treatment, while the level of IL-4was lower than pretreatment. Thechange of IFN-γ、IL-4and T-bet/GATA3in the treatment group was betterthan that in the control group, which showed a statistical difference(p<0.05).There was no obvious adverse reaction in both groups.Conclusion: Modified Siwu Xiaofeng powder is a effective treatmentfor chronic eczema, and it may be restoring TH1/TH2balance viaregulation of the level of IFN-γ,IL-4and transcription factors T-bet/GATA3ratio.
