Research On Risk Management Of ADP Development Project

Software industry has become one of the largest industries in twenty-first century, but the risk of software project is high, the low quality of the software has always been a big problem for the enterprises. Risk management is a very important management activity in the project management process. Through the risk management, we can make the project process more stable. It can enable us to track and control the project. According to the unique characteristics of software project, the theoretical knowledge of software risk management should be fully learned, and the experience accumulated in project practice could be effective for controlling the risk, and ultimately for the purpose of reducing damage and achieving maximum benefits.Under the current economic environment, starting from the research status of risk management in both domestic and international software projects, the so called ADP project, which is about development of the client software for a mobile wireless multi-screen product, is used for this research. The risks are identified in each stage of the development process, and the knowledge base of risk is established, any identified risk is assessed using the risk assessment index (RAC), thus risks are monitored and under control, a series of action plans and response measures are developed to reduce project risks effectively.Basing on the classic software risk management model, this paper presents a method to improve the software risk management, and provides a reference with practical experiences for software risk management in domestic enterprises.
