Information service brought by the rapid development of the Internet, make the channels of acquisition of information to a wide range. Therefore, colleges and universities must be combined with new public service concept, to promote the transition to the service of the library. The librarian as the core driving force plays a crucial role. Due to historical reasons Shanghai University Library hasn’t have perfect librarians access system, It is resulted that the overall cultural level of the librarians at present is low and knowledge structure is single and other practical problems are followed. As the librarian training mode cannot meet the demand of the information service of the library, any scholars carried out related research.This paper uses the related theories and tools of public management from the perspective of new public service theory, and combined the related talent training theory. It presents Shanghai University Librarian Training mode. The research of this field is rarely involved.Through the analysis of 289 valid questionnaires from 10 universities in Shanghai, The following problems are summed up for the librarian training mode: the training mode used in the past is not suitable for the needs of librarians and the library; the training courses, the course content is relatively simple, involves a very narrow course, the depth is not enough, mainly focus in Library Science, information science, information technology and other aspects; in training means, over reliance on the means of lectures, visiting, and floating on the surface, no further; in the training effect evaluation mechanism, there is no effective evaluation standard, mainly focus on the experience report, research papers and other simple ways, there is no clear score, It cannot be known whether raining mode meet the needs of it.According to the factual basis of the present situation of librarians training facts, it analyses the causes of the problems: in training philosophy, more attention paid to the theory of culture than practical training, more attention paid to the information technology than professional library itself, more attention paid to the work of Library than academic achievements; in the external environment, colleges do not attach importance to the librarian training, does not recognize the Librarians’ information service ability; in the training object, the overall ability of librarians is uneven, their demand is not homogeneous; in the training of strength training, lack of funds, lack of ability training; in the training mechanism, training object over emphasis on elite education, training needs only focus on the meet of the type of customers’ information service, training and evaluation mechanism is not enough emphasised.To solve these problems, the author suggests the following ways to strengthen:First, to determine the basic ideas of the Shanghai University Librarian Training Mode: in the basic goal, to meet the needs of teachers and students in Colleges and universities service, to meet the needs of university library, meet the needs of their own development librarian; on the basic principle, pay attention to culture with the teachers and the students as the center of the service consciousness, focusing on the needs of the future development of the library, attention to the competition of other information service provider. The key to Shanghai University Librarian’s role of scientific classification: guide managers in the collection and organization of information resource and information service to promote, the use of information resources, participation composition teaching and scientific research in the institutions of higher learning, and establish corresponding competency model.Second, establishment and the concrete measures of perfecting Shanghai University Library Librarian Training Mode: clear training direction, pay attention to the combination of liberal education and professional education; establish and improve the training course system, reasonable planning of the training content; pay attention to the theory and practice of combining adoptive method; set up perfect training system and evaluation mechanism, set reasonable evaluation criterion. |
