The Research Of Scientific Knowledge Service Of The University Library That Under E-science Environment

As the storeroom of knowledge and information resources, university library isabout to offer academic support to the creation of its scientific research and academicachievements, so it has become such a kind of traditional and important professionalwork for the scientific knowledge service it provides. While with the development ofinformatization of scientific research, the environment of E-science appears graduallyand is growing up, it makes scientific research activities fully open and highly sharing,and makes it possible for collaboration. In this environment, the knowledge service ofthe library also has a huge change and transformation. In this paper, we will mainlyintroduce and investigate four aspects about the content:(1) expound the characteristics of the environment of science itself, such ashigh-end infrastructure and the grid it attaches to; the activities of scientific researchhas a high degree of openness, sharing and cooperativity; the change of the toolsand objects, the variation of implementation of the knowledge and research methods,and the progress of scientific research models; all these is forcing university librarymake a change, such as the library core business is change from informationmanagement to information services, integration of library service and informationtechnology, and library services should focus on the uniformity and refinement, etc.Due to the transformation of the pattern, university library is facing many problems,such as the shortage of the library construction technology and its weakness on themanagement.(2) In response to the change, we have to build a scientific knowledge servicemode of library of university under E-science environment. This article mainly do thedemand analysis from four aspects: the technical requirements, service requirements,management requirements and user needs.(3) In the main body of this paper, we construct a scientific knowledge servicemode of library of university the under E-science environment, and introduce themain elements and the work process of the model in detail.(4)Through the analysis of the demand and the study of new model, we explorethe way of long-term sustainable development for the quality and the effect ofknowledge service of university library under the environment of E-science.Meanwhile, we discuss four development strategies, include the development ofE-learning service, the management of the digital knowledge resources, theestablishment of opened academic exchange system and strengthen the training ofscientific users’ information literacy. Existing research and progress more to "E-science" and "scientific knowledge ofuniversity library services" as a way of research.It’s bad for combination andapplication in the new environment of college library.Aiming at this problem,I built alibrary of knowledge service model research universities under the E-scienceEnvironment,that trying to develop core academic libraries and service levels.
