Research On Evaluation Index System Of Digital Library Resources In University Library

The construction of the collections becomes crucial to the university libraries.The quality of library collections determine the pros and the cons of the library service’s quality,the work and the whole efficiency of the library.With the development of computer and web technology,the structure of the library collections has transformed from the structure which was based on prints supplemented by digital collections into the structure which is the joint development of the prints and digital collections.The paper aims to analyze the factors which affects the digital collections of the university libraries from three aspects---the purchasing,the using and the storing procedures--- by means of literature research and qualitative and quantitative analysis. The university libraries will realize the environment of the construction of digital library collections and understand the challenges of the development of the libraries.The analyze will reduce he potential damage in the existing collection structure,guide the librarians’ works,improve the quality of the collections.In the addition,the analyze will improve the efficiency of the university libraries to a certain extent and help the libraries serve the students and the faculty members better.
