Study On The Evaluation Of University Library's Cataloging Service Outsourcing Project

The rapid development of China's higher education,teaching quality greatly improved,the scale gradually expanded,the number of students increased year by year,which puts forward higher requirements on service ability of literature resource construction,institutions of higher learning library.In the library cataloging outsourcing mode,originally borne cataloguing librarians will be mainly responsible for cataloging outsourcing evaluation,audit,supervision and management work,so as to ensure that the university library can be effectively used for other resources library to carry out the business,help give full play to the contractor flexible management mechanism and scale benefit,professional strong advantages to reduce the library cataloging service prices and enhance the quality and efficiency of the purpose of cataloging.How to do well the cataloging work of university library has become one of the core tasks of University library.On the basis of relevant theories,this paper probes into the evaluation of Cataloguing Outsourcing Projects in University libraries.First,evaluation of the University Library Cataloging Outsourcing Project in this paper,the research background and significance,research status at home and abroad are described;then,using literature method,questionnaire survey method,case analysis and other research methods systematically,analyzes the library cataloging outsourcing project evaluation,combining with the characteristics of the project of Cataloging outsourcing business,construction project evaluation,outsourcing project selection evaluation,project management,evaluation and assessment of sustainable development evaluation index system,put forward the method of optimization of library cataloging outsourcing project evaluation,and then taking Q University as an example of Q university library cataloging outsourcing projects,vendor selection,project management and project comprehensive evaluation of empirical analysis;finally,summarizes the University The library cataloging outsourcing project evaluation results,the existing problems,put forward concrete proposals for improvement of Cataloging Outsourcing in university libraries,this is to improve the quality of Cataloging Outsourcing in university libraries,optimize the allocation of resources and reduce the cost of service industry of University Library Cataloging has certain practical significance.
