The urban gas pipeline network which bears an important responsibility for energy supply is one of important constituent parts of the urban infrastructures.Like water supply, telecommunications and electric power, it’s the material basis of the survival and development for a city,which can be called the lifeblood of a city. With the quickening of the urbanization process,the density and complexity of the urban gas pipeline has been becoming larger and larger so that gas accidents such as fire, explosion, poisoning have happened across the country, and is on the rise, which has caused serious casualties and property losses, and brought great negative impact on public security and harmony stability of the society. The distribution facilities of gas enterprise are in every corner of the city.Their characteristics such as having a large of point facilities,having long pipelines,having wide networks has brought a lot of difficulties to safety management and production work.Facing these problems,on the contrast, traditional gas industry is management means backward,low productivity,low degree of informatization,which far can’t satisfy the needs of practical work.Therefore,to buid a urban gas pipeline network information system for safe operation and management of urban gas pipeline network is of great significance.In terms of construction of urban gas pipeline network information system, there is quite a few successful cases at home and abroad, a large part of them are still the traditional C/S mode. C/S mode system has rich and powerful data processing, analysis and display functions, especially in terms of the security of data. But maintenance and update of the C/S mode system is quite tedious, and information sharing is not good, and in the era of the network the C/S mode system already can’t meet the needs of the user in a certain. This thesis based on the domestic and foreign scholars in the related research results, combined with the characteristics of gas industry, uses the existing GIS softwares and database technology to construct Web application of urban gas pipeline network system. The main research contents and results are:(1) Collect and organize the research scholars at home and abroad in the research of urban gas pipeline network, including the model and algorithm of the analysis of piple burst, the algorithm of the shortest path, the model of gas leakage and the network risk assessment model (half quantitative risk analysis), etc.,and propose an improved algorithm for the analysis of pipeline burst and the shortest path algorithm.(2) Adopt B/S mode, combined with GIS technology and Web technology, build the system of five layers architecture:data layer, logic layer, service layer, application layer and presentation layer. Data layer, including spatial basic data, spatial application data, related attribute data, the equipment ledger data, etc.; Logic layer, including the analysis of pipeline burst, the analysis of shortest path, pipeline network risk analysis model,etc.; Service layer, the release of the map of spatial data for your browser on the client side to access; Application layer, including inquiry, measurement,analysis application,ledger management, user management, etc.; Presentation layer: providing a variety of interactive interface friendly display to the user.(3) According to the system architecture,based on programming components of ASP. NET, ArcGIS API for JavaScript and ArcObjects, etc.,using ExtJS, JavaScript, JQuery, etc. third-party softwares, programming to realize the system functions, including the ability of conventional map operations, gas network equipment inquiry, ledger data management and online network data editing, analysis of network risk, analysis of disaster emergency rescue, the related processing plan generating, etc., aim to provide convenient data and technical support for safety management and accident emergency rescue of urban natural gas pipeline.
