| The traditional production and management of gas pipeline try to mark all the various and huge amount of pipeline information on the drawings. A drawing containing various kinds of data on piping, equipment, topography and other various types of data makes it difficult to read and classify to access data, which will result in poor strain ability under emergency circumstances. With the growth of business, it exposes its inadaptability gradually. So, in the production and management of gas pipeline, the use of advanced information technology for replacing the traditional management way seems to be more pressing.With wide and deep application of modern GIS(geographic information system), GIS technology can be applied to display, store and process vast amounts of map data and combine all kinds of attribute data with the map data organically so as to provide auxiliary decision support and statistical analysis, which is particularly suitable for the integrated management of gas pipeline information. Aiming at issues existing in oil and gas pipeline management, applied is the GIS technology to complete design and development of gas pipeline information management system of a company in Sichuan Province.The main contents studied in this paper include:(1) To study the pipeline geographic information visualization, realizing the basic operation function, map browsing classificated function, map query function, and map data management function.(2) To study spatial analysis based on the natural gas pipeline network data, realizing flow analysis, connectivity analysis, the optimal path based on the natural gas pipeline network data.(3) To study the pipeline comprehensive security information management, realizing in the comprehensive information system users’ rights classification management and system log browsing.(4) Using GIS technology to design and develop one Sichuan company’s natural gas pipeline information management system. |
