The urban underground pipeline is an important infrastructure of the city, and it’s safe operation ensures modern city with high-efficiency, high-quality operation. City underground pipeline is called the city’s "lifeline", like the human body "nervous" and "vascular", transfering information and energy day and nigh.So urban underground pipeline information system based on ArcEngine is playing a significant role in improving the integrative management, accelerating the constructing and developings teps of urban geographic information system.Based on the characteristics of the underground pipeline,the collection of existing data, and the development status of the domestic and international cities pipeline information system, this this thesis manages the underground pipeline data with ArcSDE database Engine and Oracle database, realizes system interface and function development with ArcEngine component library and Visual C#2008, and establishes Dongli District Underground Pipeline Information System.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1、Overview domestic and international pipeline management overview and underground pipeline dynamic management system software development status, propose urban underground pipeline construction program and development planning.2、According to the characteristics of the underground pipe network data, analysising and modeling urban underground pipeline data, and obtaining optimal data storage means, including spatial database stored data content, organization and storage mechanisms.3、Conducting research around component GIS integration technology, researching ArcEngine and Visual C#2008integrated development approach.4、Taking advantage of the powerful spatial analysis of ArcEngine components, relizing cross-sectional analysis of underground pipelines, pipeline design,horizontal distance analysis, vertical distance analysis and accident analysis.5、Combined with ArcEngine、Oracle database storage technology and ArcSDE spatial data Engine,studing pipeline data checking and updating technology.6、Overview this thesis and suggest a prospect.
