| In this thesis, the content analysis method is adopted to deeply analyze the news sources which appeared in the local news of Xin’an Newspaper from1997to2012, aiming at understanding the general characteristics of the news sources of Xin’an Newspaper and revealing the problems of using these news sources.Research and statistics have shown that the usage of the news sources of Xin’an Newspaper are obviously not standardized. From the perspective of the clarity of news sources, the percentage of definite news is low while ambiguous news are common, which has no reasonable explanations. From the perspective of the quantity of news sources, single news report seems to have few news sources which cannot reflect the principle of multi-sources. From the perspective of the type of news sources, Party and government organs, enterprises and institutions and experts and scholars are in a more powerful position than ordinary people. From the perspective of the role of news sources, the role of ordinary people is single. From the perspective of the citation of news sources, direct reference is more common than indirect reference.Data have also shown that, In spite of the above problems, the usage of the news sources of Xin’an Newspaper is gradually standardized with the quantity, type clarity, role and citation of news resources showing positive developing trends.In order to maintain these positive trends and slove related problems, some suggestions are made in this thesis, hoping to provide reference and enlightenment for other similar newspapers. |
