A Research On News Sources Involvement Of Chinese Companies In English Media Reporting

In recent years,the research on the interaction between news media and news sources has been the core topic of international political communicators and journalists.The research on interaction can be divided into two paradigms: internal approach mode,external approach mode.this paper attempts to start from the external approach mode to explore the interaction rule between news sources and news media as public relations.as well as the extension of the theory and method of news source involvement as news sources,and its significance and value to the study of journalism and public relations.On the basis of the breadth and density of news source involvement,this paper supplements the dimension of news source involvement in order to provide reference for the cross-study of news communication and public relations.Taking Huawei as an example,the study selects the research topic as the study on the involvement degree of sources reported by overseas media on Chinese enterprises.The difference of information sources in different dimensions went examined from horizontal and vertical perspectives.From the perspective of Journalism,the differences of information sources involved by different media in different dimensions were investigated horizontally,while from the perspective of public relations,the changes of information sources involved in Huawei before and after the public interview with foreign media were investigated vertically.The study found that the source involved in the degree of involvement in breadth,involved in density relationship and issues involved in attitude to build the news media has important influence.After Huawei interviewed,media coverage of Huawei has increased dramatically,with a lot of attention paid to the relevant sources.The founder of Huawei Ren Zhengfei become the main source.on the basis of summarizing the research conclusions.
