Design And Implementation Of Port Shoreline Spatial Database Management System

With the rapid development of marine economy, the port’s shoreline resources as themost basic natural resources of China have played an increasingly important role. Moreattention is paid to Harbor shoreline of Zhoushan islands new area as national free tradezone development. However, there exists some problems in the use and management ofshoreline resources, for example low efficiency in management, unreasonable regionaldistribution, and so on. The data sharing about harbor shoreline resources has became aurgent problem.In the thesis, based on the project on real-time monitoring for port shareline resourcesof Zhoushan islands new area, the port shareline resources of Aoshan are studied, theirspatial database are builded and their resource information management system is designed.First, we investigated the developing and utilizing of shareline resources in Aoshan andwent through all related reference material about the spatial database, and throughcomparative analytical method, we chose Geodatabase as the data model and builded thespatial database in ArcSDE+SQL SERVER. Finally, referring to user’s demand and usingArcEngine and C#programming language, we designed and implemented the resourceinformation management system in the.NET platform. The system realized the visit,retrieval, storage and analysis for the spatial data of the island.
