| The 21st century is an information era, and the competition among nations is competitionin information to a great extent. Even it is a competition in the utilization ratio of theinformation. A sizeable proportion of information is spatial, which is more than 80%according to statistics. With the development of IT technology, the need for position servicesand analyzing decision is urgent day by day, so the study on spatial database technology has agreat meaning. In this thesis, the Geodatabase is studied, and the models for schlich arecreated based on Geodatabase, the spatial database for schlich is then establishedautomatically. This thesis carries out a study on the key technologies of spatial database. Starting withdiscussing the third generation data model, Geodatabase model, we build the models forschlich. Then the database schema for schlich is generated automatically according to themodels for schlich built before. At last, we establish spatial database for schlich based onGeodatabase, and provide the valuable experience for other items. The main content of this thesis is as follows: Study a new object-oriented data model which is Geodatabase. On the basis of analyzingtraditional data model, the advantages of Geodatabase are discussed in representinggeographic data. It is effective to create model for geographic data using Geodatabase. On the basis of Geodatabase model, the schlich data is abstracted, and the UML modelsare created using CASE tool. At last, the database schema for the schlich is generatedautomatically. The geographic information system for schlich is designed and developed. It provides thefunctions including the basic operations for both attribute data and spatial geographicdata, such as updating, querying. The data standardization is also offered. |
