Research And Implementation Of RS Mass Data Management System

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a computer system, which collects, stores, managements, analysis, and displays and uses geoinformation. GIS is a general technique to analysis and manipulate large amount geodata. Since 1960s, GIS was used widely, such as urban plan, traffic plan, urban green coverage investigation, urban built up area development investigation, scenery plan, urban development and zoology environment investigation, persistence development study, etc. GIS benefits obviously .But ecumenical GIS soft can not organize, dispatch, store and mange so large amount of data. These soft consider little on management and integration of multi data sources, multi scales, much time data.The author made an efficient plan at software engineering angle to resolve the above-mentioned question. Manage DOM data based on database, referenced as the urban coordinate system. The thesis studied to share between foundational GIS database and DOM database. The result is to establish Jinan multi scale, multi resolution, multi data sources, and many kinds of DOM database. The implementation is to build a system, which dispatches image data and metadata, manages these large amount data.Two core techniques are used in this system, which are ArcObjects and ArcSDE. A DOM database is established based on Geodatabase model. Such functions are implemented as browse, query and output.
