With the rapid development of semiconductor techilology, Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA)can meet the level of a system design, a scheme of system on chip base on FPGA has much advantage, such as save developing cost and time, hardware and software re-programmable, flexible, reducible, expandable, upgradable etc. Because of these, it has been adopted in many areas such as communication, industry control, etc.Based on the PowerPC440-embedded FPGA, we implement the implement serial the multifunctional interface module by using SOPC technique. This thesis introduces the basic principles of multifunctional interface module, and briefly describes the general principles and methods of the FPGA design, and particularly explains the realization of the multifunctional interface module, including the system overall programming, hardware design and FPGA design and so on. in this thesis we choose the Virtex-5FPGA, with two PowerPC440embedded in the FPGA, we implement embedded system,1553B, ARINC429, Serial RapidIO.At the end, a summing up of this article is given and the prospect for future researches is Put forward.
