ARINC429 is a bus protocol widely used in avionics.In recent years,with the continuous development of aerospace technology in China,the demand for aviation communication equipment is increasing.The integrated circuit chips used in domestic aviation communication equipment have long been dependent on imports and often face various constraints.Therefore,China urgently needs to have independent research and development of aviation communication equipment.This paper aims to develop a domestic ARINC429 communication module based on CPCI bus.This module can provide four ARINC429 receiving channels and two ARINC429 sending channels.It uses advanced integrated circuit chips in China to achieve the target of localization and controllability.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1.The hardware implementation scheme of 100 % domestic integrated circuit chip is proposed.Using the hardware framework of DSP + FPGA,the DSP main control unit,FPGA control unit,CPCI interface unit,memory unit,level conversion and ARINC429 interface unit of the ARINC429 communication module are designed and implemented.2.A FPGA logic implementation scheme based on IP core technology is proposed.The overall logic includes ARINC429 interface control unit,memory control unit and CPCI interface control unit.ARINC429 interface control unit mainly completes data read and write control.The memory control unit adopts DDR2 IP core integrated in FPGA to control memory for data cache,including dual port RAM and its read and write control logic and DDR2 IP core and its read and write control logic.The CPCI interface control unit is controlled by PCI IP core.3.The software program of ARINC429 communication module is designed and implemented.The software program includes DSP software program and PC instrument driver which meets VPP standard.The DSP program completes the control of each module hardware and the data interaction of the host computer.The instrument driver provides users with communication configuration function,data sending function and data receiving function.The functions and performance indicators of the module are tested through the test platform.The results show that the module fully meets the design requirements,and the integrated circuit chip is fully domesticated.
