Infrared focal plane array detectors (IRFPA-Infrared Focal Plane Array)are important conponts to abtain infrared information, widely used in military and many other fields.Today the technology of infrared focal plane has been developed to the integrated high-tech with the collection of infrared materials, optics, refrigeration, silicon micromachining and microelectronics.Readout integrated circuit(ROIC Readout Integration Circuit)is the core part of IRFPA, the performace of ROIC is very important in IRFPA.The technology is in its preparatory research at present in our country, and, there is a rather large gap between western countries and us. It has been imperative to develop our own IRFPA technology.The paper introduced the process of320X256CMOS IRFPA ROIC design, first use IC design software Candenc completed the schematic, simulated its function and timing by Hspice and Verilog-XL. We completed the layout design by the layout design tools Virtusuo,and accompanied by several design methods that would be smaller and effect, ive suppressing the noise of ROIC.Through theoretical analysis and experimental research of ROIC, The design circuit have many new functions and features, such as snapshot,, global reset, selection of windows for output, multi gain regulating, multi integration time, noise of ROIC is lower, and so on. lilectrical Characteristics:The working voltage is5V, nonl ineari t.y Less than or equal to2%, the maximum output video rate is5MHz, power con sump t ion less than80mW.
