Study On Readout Circuits Technology For InSb IRFPA

IRFPA(infrared focal plane array) is the kind of device which is widely accepted as a very important photoelectronics device.Most IRFPAs are composed of two main parts: the infrared detector array and the readout integrated circuit (ROIC) .IRFPA can transform the light signal into electronics signal and then accumulate, amplify, filtrate the signal. After that ,the signal will meet our needs. In recent years, the IRFPAs are widely applied in the field of military affairs, science, and industry, providing great convenience to us. As the science developing fast ,the field of infrared detection ask for more high-performance IRFPAs.For this reason ,more countries are paying more attentions on its development.At the beginning of this thesis ,the IRFPA ROIC was systematically introduced, and then we will discuss the development trend of both IRFPA and IRFPA ROIC.After that,we will discuss some configuration of the the property of the IRFPA ROIC. In order to achieve a better comprehension of all kinds of IRFPA ROIC, we also do a comparision between the several main types of IRFPA ROIC.On the base of above analyse,we designed the 136×1 array InSb IRFPA ROIC.This roic is of CTIA(an IRFPA readout integrated circuit with CMOS differential capacitor feedback transimpedance amplifier) structure,and we use CDS(correlated double sampling) to collect the signal .This roic has the characteristic of low noise, high linearity, great output bound, adjustable accumulation capacitance, so it has great application value. After the design of the roic, we do some simulation of the pixel to make sure the roic meet our requirement. At last we designed the layout of the roic.
