However, with the continuous improvement ofenterprise project management level, the continuous expansion of business scope andcross regional cooperation is inevitable, which make the collaborative of projectorganizational roles also increased, so, Xtep desiderates a management system to fitthese requirements.Xtep (China) Co., Ltd. is a large-scale fashion sports sporting goods companies,which in2008successfully listed in Hong Kong, and thus began a new, completelydifferent course of development.In recent years, with the introduction of a large numberprojects, which for promoting the enterprise’s competitive ability and management level,the requirements of project management level is getting higher and higher, in order tomeet this need, the introduce of a project management system is our first imperative.What the thesis research and implement is a result to secondary development onthe basis of KM platform, also it’s a result of a upgrading project of KM’s optimization.Combined with the existing project management functions in the KM platform whichthe Yuantian Software Corporation implemented, and according to my company’s actualsituation and the actual need for forming a PMO to management the projects orderly,we design the software solution base on the investigation of balance between thegeneral model and the efficieny of actual execution. Implementation of the system notonly greatly enhanced and improved the capabilities of the project management’sexecution and control, but also solidified the company’s existing success stories andvaluable experience, extensive knowledge preserved document provides reuse, and laida solid foundation for the future, for example, assist the landing of strategic movethrough project management.Thesis mainly covers the design idea and technical background of the projectmanagement system，demand analysis and overall design, database design, detaileddesign and the show of parts of the code, including an explanation of a prominent function point, testing and maintenance, and at last, it investigates the parts which canbe improved.
