With the improvement of train speed, recognizing Locomotive Signal on the ground is more and more difficult for a train driver. Current locomotive signal couldn't meet the need of improving train speed gradually. So the researching of new locomotive signal equipment which is used to move the locomotive signal from ground to the engine is in urgent need. So it is necessary to develop a kind of testing instrument to test new locomotive signal devices. According to all kinds of conditions required by testing instrument, a configuration with two CPU which is made up of MSP430F149 + TMS320VC5416 is developed, MSP430F149 + TMS320VC5416 are connected by HPI bus. Communication between the host and CRT is charged by TMS320VC5416, while MSP430F149 is responsible for the generation of locomotive signal and communicates with PC. We use TL16C554A to expand serial communication interface, and realize CAN bus communication with a SJA1000. We use a CPLD to decode the address bus of TMS320VC5416 for TL16C554A and SJA1000, which improve the reliability of this system and shorten time-to-market, make TMS320VC5416 more convenience to read and write external device. Additionally, Cyclic Redundancy Check is added to all data communication, which ensure the veracity of transmission. The first chapter of this paper introduces basically new locomotive signal and its testing instrument; the second chapter introduces the scheme of hardware; and the generation of locomotive signal is described in the third chapter. The forth chapter explains the software of this system. The fifth chapter introduces the security measurements taked in hardware and arithmetic of Cyclic Redundancy Check in software. |
