With the development of science and technology and computer network, we have enteredthe digital age. In the digital age, the Internet emerged a large number of electronic readingmaterials and multimedia reading material. Thus we learn that fundamental changes havetaken place in the reading of college students, it is no longer a single way of traditional textreading, but also contains the traditional way of text reading, electronic hypertext reading,network reading, mobile phones reading and the like, digital reading methods. In this paper,through literature research and practical investigation, the paper analyzes the current situationof college students’ digital reading and the influence of digital reading to college students,some ways to promote digital reading promotion strategy, such as optimization of digitalreading content, enhance the function of reading devices and improve the digital readingexperience, perfect the digital service of university library and so on.In this paper, a total of five chapters, the content is as follows:The first chapter is introduction. It introduced the background of this article, the reasonfor topic selection, objective and significance of this research. Also introduced the researchstatus at home and abroad, and gives the research ideas and methods of the research to thisarticle.The second chapter designed the factors affecting to the promotion of college students’digital reading, including investigation purposes, the research object, research method andstep; and designed the questionnaire, including sample selection, interview object, made aanalysis the factors of the reliability and validity, discussed about the scale.The third chapter made a analysis of the affecting factors to promote college studentsdigital reading, including their own factors analysis, environmental factor analysis, contentfactor analysis and reader factor analysis.The fourth chapter summarizes the strategies of digital reading promotion. Throughanalysis and survey of the above, some strategy can be adopted to prove digital reading of thecollege students. The fifth chapter is the conclusion of this article, including the innovation of this article,there are some disadvantages, such as the survey sample is limited, and the approach is notcomprehensive.
