Design And Implementation Of Course Management System For Project-based Teaching

Currently there are very few specialized course management systems for project teaching,while in vocational colleges there is a great demand of education information in projectteaching. To extremely meet the teaching and learning, this article gives an improved coursemanagement exploration to design reasonable and optimized course management system thatused to be multi-functional but not practical，plenty of resources but not be picked andlacking of project features.Project teaching not only fully embodies the characteristics of higher vocationaleducation, but also helps to train students in knowledge、professional skills、socially bearingcapability and career awareness, which conforms to the development of the vocationaleducation.Course management system that is built by education technology and networktechnology and works in the network environment, consists of several functions, such asreleasing course resources, submitting assignments and tests, exchanging experience,checking work attendance and so on.It’s different between project teaching-based course management system and anordinary course management system. On the one hand, project teaching-based coursemanagement system focuses on teaching project, in another words, it is only a specialplatform for project teaching,while it doesn’t concern courses if fit to project teaching that should be concerned by teachers. On the anther hand, project teaching-based coursemanagement system is a course management system in essence to improve efficiency ofteaching, and its users can be those who work in colleges、research institutes and enterprises.Project teaching-based course management system is developed by integrateddevelopment environment——Microsoft Visual Studio, and the B/S architecture is adopted inits framework design. Programming language is C#and SQL2005database system is also byused to design this system.
