Study Of Public Computer Teaching Based On Web Investigation

With the development of information technology, computer competency ability already became an important constituent in the knowledge structure of contemporary university students. At present, there is overwhelming majority non-computer specialized student in the universities, moreover there are many kinds of specialty which covers different fields of science, and student will engaged in different works after they graduate from university, therefore how to develop the public computer curriculum well is one key point in the research of the modern education studies in the university. The special topic research named Normal University Arts Computer Curriculum System about university's public computer curriculum has been conducted in universities of Yangtze River delta area, and it is supported by many education units, coordinated by the East China Normal University. The research is started from investigation, and the purpose of the survey is to know the needs of students in computer knowledge and the interviewees with the different levels and the application of computer capacity, then according to the findings, decide the computer elementary training courses such as arts teaching, and wirte some books to meet the professional needs of students.In order to complete the research well, a dedicated online investigation system is designed and implemented in this paper. The functions realized in the system are as follow: control investigation questions and investigation users, and to submit information online. The administrator have the right to add, modify survey topics, check findings, The operation and maintenance of the system is very easy. It can be widely used in school survey. Further more, the system also has the function of the collection of statistical data analysis. That can rapidly objectively reflect the results of the investigation.Through network online survey system, in the Yangtze River delta area universities, undergraduate students, graduate students and teachers participated in the investigation. Then Survey data are classified and counted out by different kinds of users .By comparing and analysising the survey data, the conclusion is: that: in the current colleges and universities, most of the students have varying degrees of computer knowledge; the computer content can not meet the need; computer courses have little contacts with the major; the students take more attention to the practice of operation other than the theories, and so on.
