In the development, production, and maintenance process of a composite radar,the acquis ition, recording and analysis of its tele metry RS-485signa l and IF signal,as well as the monitoring of4channel DC power, are important basis to determinewhether the radar works well. As a radar test equip ment, radar signal acquis itionand processing system provides a strong guarantee for radar development,production and testing.Based on the analysis of testing require ments, this thesis proposes a radarsigna l acquisition and processing system design overall program. The hardwareplatform is built by PXI chassis and functional PXI/CPCI card. PXI embeddedcomputer is used as the main controller, and NI PXI-5152high-speed digitizer isused to acquire the radar IF signa l, and NI8260HDD High Speed Data StorageModule is used to store the acquired data, and CPCI DC power monitor card, CPCIsynchronous RS-485communication card, which are designed and developed bythe author, are used to monitor the DC power and receive radar tele metry RS-485signa ls. In hardware design, this thesis focuses on the introduction of diagramdesign and logic design of CPCI power voltage monitoring cards and CPCI syncRS-485communication card. LabVIEW is used as the software developmentplatform for designing radar signa l acquisition and processing system software.The system software architecture and key technologies used in the software designare introduced. NI VISA is used to design the CPCI card drivers, which enable theLabVIEW software control the CPCI card; NI TDM Stream file is used to store theacquired IF signa l and telemetry RS-485signa l; LabVIEW Modulation Toolkit isused to realize the demodulation and decoding of IF modulated signal.In addition to meeting the mission requirements, the radar signal acquisitionand processing systems has the advantage of easy mainta ining, easy expanding,etc., the system’s capability can be easily expanded by adding functional card tothe system. The software designed using graphical programming languageLabVIEW has high flexib ility, which can be updated in short time according to the change of demand in laters.The testing results show that the radar signal acquisition and processingsystem accomplishes the full testing of the composite radar, meeting the missionrequirements well.
