In recent years, signal acquisition as well as research and application of data processing technology is one of the focal points in countries’studies, which are widely used in communication, remote sensing, nondestructive engineering, language processing and intelligent instrument. Now, analysis instruments of production signal home and abroad, open to scientific research institutes and laboratory are achieved with the help of the embedded data acquisition card and personal computer as well. The embedded data acquisition card deals with most of data collection, and software based on personal computer partly finishes the following communication, processing and display of signals, while under some complicated circumstances the field detection and processing of signal, against the measure and portable demand, are difficult to go ahead. As a consequence, the extensive use of signal analysis instruments in the market at present should be further developing on price, portability, usability, sensitivity and stability.The system employs miniature fiber spectrograph USB4000from Marine Optical Company in the United States as the hardware equipment to gain spectrum signal with the core design of embedded microcontroller to achieve data acquisition and processing system. Spectral signal collected from miniature spectrograph changes into digital signal after initial treatment, and transmits to embedded computer platform through USB interface in the system, and finally adopts virtual equipment LabVIEW to develop the writing program and the control panel to distract into the embedded ARM based on the processing system of Windows CE with the view of finishing the acquisition of spectral signal, sampling and processing of data to achieve the functions of data collection, data processing, real-time display and storage.
