This paper begins with a profound analysis of the PCI and CPCI bus specification, and then brings forward an implementation scheme of high-speed data acquisition card based on PCI/CPCI bus which takes PCI9054 as the PCI/CPCI bus interface chip. This paper comprises two main parts: hardware system design and device driver design.In the part of hardware design, some common problems in the design of circuit are analyzed and then it is discussed how to configure the EEPROM. At last, a detailed introduction of the control logic of local bus is put forward.In the part of device driver development, various kinds driver development tools have been compared at first and then the paper gives a brief introduction of the principle of DriverStudio, the tool we use. At last, the driver development process is discussed.Now, the high-speed data acquisition card based on PCI bus has already been used in the system of Large-Scale CIS Scanning Input, and solved the speed bottle problem of data transfer between the large-scale CIS scanner and the host computer. At the same time, the high-speed data acquisition card based on CPCI bus has also been adopted by the high-performance commanding system, and improved the capabilities of the system greatly.
