This article is based on the demand of the data storage in a array radar echo simulator. Arria â…¡ GX series FPGA master controller, fiber and PCI interface data transmission channels and solid state disk storage medium are the main parts of the large-capacity data storage card. The storage capacity of the memory card can be expended according to the design demand by expanded the capacity of the SSD and the data storage rate can be improved by DDRII cache.This paper introduces the hardware design of the memory card firstly, and then focuses on the study of the SATA interface protocol of the SSD, the use of high-speed transceiver IP core and the SSD. Finally analyses the program is through the preparation of the ATA protocol to finish read or write data from SSD by using SATA bridge chip. Through the experimental test, the kind program can access to the SSD correctly.
